Parent Engagement Resources

Below are the links to several organisations who are doing very valuable work in the Parent Engagement space.

Catholic School Parents Australia:

The Australian Government recently funded a project in which the CSPA project team developed 6 video workshops and Facilitator Guides- three for primary and three for secondary. The resources include comments from Andrew Fuller, John Hattie, Donna Cross and John Edwards. A major focus of these new resources is to build capacity in both families and school staff to work in partnership. Parent Engagement Toolkit for Parents:

The Gearing up for Parent Engagement in Student Learning toolkit has been developed for families and schools to help make the transition into primary and secondary school a great experience for children and young people. The information provided will assist the unique relationship between parent and child to flourish into a meaningful partnership between home and school towards improving the learning and wellbeing of students.

The Fathering Project:

The Fathering Project positively impacts fathering behaviour and fathers’ engagement with children through evidence-rich programs and resources that engage, equip and support fathers, families, schools, employers and community organisations.

Andrew Fuller is a clinical psychologist who works with many schools and communities in Australia and internationally, specialising in the wellbeing of young people and their families.
