The Australian Government recently funded a project in which the CSPA project team developed 6 video workshops and Facilitator Guides- three for primary and three for secondary. The resources include comments from Andrew Fuller, John Hattie, Donna Cross and John Edwards. A major focus of these new resources is to build capacity in both families and school staff to work in partnership. The Gearing up for Parent Engagement in Student Learning toolkit has been developed for families and schools to help make the transition into primary and secondary school a great experience for children and young people. The information provided will assist the unique relationship between parent and child to flourish into a meaningful partnership between home and school towards improving the learning and wellbeing of students.
